At our facility, we provide completely tailor-made rehabilitation adapted to your body’s unique responses on that specific day. Therefore, the customized home exercise menu we propose changes with each and every session. Today, it is common practice for many rehabilitation facilities to provide printed sheets or video data on the spot as part of their standard "customer service." However, our philosophy is slightly different.
Remembering and Noticing: The Real Essence of Rehabilitation
Our rehabilitation programs are structured based on the concepts of the ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) (World Health Organization, 2001), the global standard in modern healthcare. Rehabilitation is far more than just moving your muscles. After you return home:
- Recalling: "What kind of physical sensation did I capture during today's rehab?"
- Being Mindful: "How should I move my body to maintain that great condition I felt at the facility?"
This exact process of using your own brain—specifically your higher brain functions, such as memory and attention, to review and reconstruct those physical sensations—is a crucial step for your body's recovery. This is why we intentionally choose not to hand out "ready-made materials" right from the start. Instead, we want you to take home the raw, live sensations you experienced during your session and review them to the best of your memory.
Noticing "What You Couldn't Do" Is a Magnificent Step Forward
"Once I got home, I couldn't quite remember how to do it." "I tried it, but I’m anxious about whether this is the correct movement."
If this happens to you, please do not worry at all. You are always more than welcome to ask us via LinkedIn DM, phone, or our inquiry form even after your visit. In fact, being able to notice on your own that "I couldn't do it" or "I couldn't remember it" is a wonderful achievement in itself—proof that your brain and body are actively working. If you lacked awareness of your own physical state, you wouldn't feel doubtful, nor would you have a reason to ask us questions.
Rather than distributing uniform sheets or videos upfront, we provide a deeper level of tailor-made support. We create and share highly effective, easy-to-understand customized sheets or videos afterward, perfectly timed with your own "noticing" and questions.
Let us walk together through your time at home, transforming "what you cannot do" into "what you can do."
