Private Rehabilitation Trial Session
This video was created to address real questions ("Why does it feel lighter without cracking?" and "What is the connectivity of the body?") raised by clients during our recent private rehabilitation trial sessions in Kazo City, Saitama.
We are committed to listening closely to the questions and concerns of our local community, and we will continue to share how evidence-based biomechanics can bring tangible changes to your daily movements.
In-Home Rehabilitation Rooted in Local Communities and Lifestyles
At our facility, we go beyond the conventional framework of medical and nursing insurance-based home rehabilitation to provide flexible support tailored to each individual's lifestyle and circumstances. Here, we introduce a selection of our activities in actual local communities, ranging from mutual support within community networks to sessions held in workplaces during work breaks.
Clinical Insights in Kazo: Rehabilitation During Work Breaks in Office Meeting Rooms
In Kazo City, which is home to many businesses and offices, we are often requested by busy executives and management-level professionals to provide rehabilitation during their daily work breaks. Even when it is difficult to secure large blocks of time for travel or clinic visits, we conduct rehabilitation and physical maintenance by utilizing a corner of an office meeting room or break room. Being able to flexibly accommodate work schedules and support those who want to maintain and enhance their performance on the front lines of business is a unique feature of community-rooted, private home rehabilitation.
Clinical Insights in Kuki: Rehabilitation Leveraging Local Tea Party Connections
In and around Kuki City, the warm tradition of close-knit neighborhood relationships is still very much alive, and we sometimes visit homes where regular social tea gatherings are held. We perform rehabilitation in a corner of the room used for the gathering, creating a natural flow where participating friends can take turns receiving care, or join the tea party as soon as their session is finished. Even when family members work during the day, or when it is difficult for clients or neighbors to drive or use public transport due to advanced age, receiving rehabilitation in turn at a place "where everyone gathers" prevents isolation and allows individuals to naturally maintain and improve their physical functions within the community.
Clinical Insights in Koga: Warm Support and Shared Rehabilitation with Relatives
In areas such as Koga, there are many cases where clients find it difficult to visit a clinic or center on their own due to age-related mobility challenges and safety concerns. For example, when visiting an elderly client living alone, a distant relative living nearby may prepare a dedicated space, saying, "I want to make sure their physical health is properly looked after," allowing us to proceed with rehabilitation while they watch together. Furthermore, rather than just observing, the relatives themselves sometimes take turns receiving rehabilitation in the same room, creating a warm space where everyone faces health together. We deeply value building a system where we can continue rehabilitation in a secure environment, closely attuned not only to the client but also to the thoughts of the family and relatives watching over them.
Reaching Our 3rd Month: Uncovering the Real Needs of the Community
It hard to believe that three months have already passed since opening Kazo Reconnect. Thanks to your support, our session volume has grown from around 20 sessions in our first month to approximately 35 sessions per month now. I am truly grateful to our local community and everyone who has supported us along the way.
Through working closely with many clients, I strongly realize every day that there are deeply felt, concrete needs, such as wanting to receive unhurried, high-quality physical therapy, or wishing to continue rehabilitation beyond the coverage limits of current insurance frameworks. I feel that flexibly answering these voices is my core role right now.
In my latest YouTube video, I talk in detail about our progress over the past three months, my honest reflections from clinical practice, and my everyday approach to patient care. Please take a look!
